Thomas Podvin and Gary Wong have documented and mapped some locations where some HK films, old and new, were shot. Each location comes with a Google map marker, an actual photograph, a Youtube clip, and comments. The aim here is to create a guide to the filming locations in Hong Kong and list places accessible by members of the public. Anyone can go and enjoy the city as shown through the viewfinder of Hong Kong movie-makers. Other chapters on HK films shot abroad and foreign films shot in HK are also available.
