Plot |
|
Return Of The Dead is a long-awaited sequel to renowned director Li Han-hsiang's first experiment in the horror genre, Enchanted Shadow. However, Return Of The Dead takes a step further from being a sheer representation of classic Chinese literature to being a navigator in the often-neglected dark corners of human nature. The insertion of erotic scenes throughout the film is yet another reminder that indulgence in sensual pleasures is futile and detrimental. (IVL)
