Since Su Ching-wen entered the movie industry in 1982, she has worked behind the scenes. She made her first participation in Teenage Dreamers as continuity, and she subsequently began her trial in script-writing and directing.
In 1985, Su had made a breakthrough in her movie career. She wrote the script for and directed Puppy Love.
She subsequently co-directed and planned the production for many movies.
After Su wrote the script for Combo Cops in 1996, she gradually resigned from the movie industry.
