Biography |

Charlie Lam is a graduate of the Academy for Performing Arts and noted cinematographer whose credits include Tai Tai, which competed in the Cannes International Film Festival 2002. He was the cinematographer for the student film Crossing, which won Kodak Vision Award 2001, the Kodak The National Award 2002, and the Kodak the Competition Regional Award Top Award Top Honors 2002.
Charlie is one of the most prominent cinematographer in Hong Kong new cinema.
His other credits include Butterfly, Jiang-Hu, Night Corridor and Fear of Intimacy. He awarded the Silver Shell for Best Photography of San Sebastian International Film Festival 2007 for Exodus.
