HKCinemagic : How would you compare Dragon Squad to the other big action hit of the year, Sha Po Lang (SPL)?
Bey Logan : When we were shooting the film, we heard that SPL was unreleasable! That was the rumour at the time. However, when I saw the rough cut, I realised it was an awesome film, and persuaded TWC [The Weinstein Company] to buy it. I think Dragon Squad has its own strengths, though, which is why TWC bought that, too. I look forward to doing great DVDs for both films, and letting the audience decide which they like best!

HKCinemagic : Was there many scenes which didn't make it to the final cut?
B L : A few. The one I really miss was a fight scene featuring Sammo Hung, set at a gas station. Now we're doing the DVD, I'm hoping to put some deleted scenes on there, including that one.
