“Eddie” (Donnie Yen Chi Tan) , a dance enthusiast, is so eager to learn from a retired Cantonese Opera Master, “Big Eyes” aka “Mini” (Yuen Woo Ping), that he persuades his elder sister, “Ah Ying” (Wong Wan Si) to offer Big Eyes a job in her family restaurant. “Jacky” (Kenny Perez), the dance champion from USA is holidaying in Hong Kong where he meets Eddie and “Kitty” (Anna Ueyama) at a tennis court. He, along with “David” (Mandy Chan Chi Man), Eddie's classmate, shows off their skills to Kitty, hoping to impress her. But he is defeated by Eddie in the tennis match. Kitty, unimpressed, continues her relationship with Eddie. When Big Eyes and Eddie make fun of Kitty's bodyguard, “Big Girl” (Shirley Tan aka Chan Wai Lin), in a health club, a super boxer, “Power” (Dick Wei) is provoked to challenge Eddie. At Jacky's birthday party, he finds himself the victim of a conspiracy against Eddie. Despite beating Jacky in a dance contest there, Eddie feels miserable for being torn between Kitty and his cousin, “Stella” (May Lo Mei Wei), who loves him secretly. Outside Eddie's sister's restaurant, Power sees Eddie subdue two hooligans who had been harassing the runaway Stella. He insists on challenging Eddie to a duel; Eddie accepts it but doesn't show up. Power turns up at Ah Ying’s restaurant, wounds Big Eyes and seizes Stella, forcing Eddie to compete with him. Eddie eventually defeats Power. Eddie and Big Eyes win the hearts of their true loves – Ah Ying and Stella, respectively. (Joy Sales)
