Plot |

Fishing boss Gu and his son, Gu San, have long oppressed the fishing folk working for them. One day, fisherman Lao Liang and his wife Aunt Liang, approach Gu San for a loan. Gu San refuses them and insults Aunt Liang in the bargain. Huang Da comes to her aid. He and Gu San are about to get into a fight before Sister Qiu pulls Huang Da away. Huang Da and Sister Qiu are childhood sweethearts but the latter is jealous because Huang Da often helps Aunt Liang. Huang Da's mother falls ill. Before she dies, she tells Huang Da that his father was killed by Boss Gu. Huang Da vows vengeance but Boss Gu, already informed, tries to win Huang Da over by employing him in his fishing fleet. Huang Da plans to kill Boss Gu on a fishing journey and therefore agrees. As they set out on the journey, a storm erupts, tossing everybody into the sea. @Yung Hwa Motion Picture Studio Journal No.8. |
