Chan Shu-chi is a well-known film professional in film production and post-production in Hong Kong, who has been involved in many big film projects. He has got nearly 30 years of experience in the film industry and has founded True Technic Facilities Limited. He was the produced of Deadly Camp 2003 and Hot Cop in the City, and the executive produced of Aces Go Places and Tiger on the Beat. He was also responsible for the planning of Code of Fortune and City Cops.
Ever since Chan was involved in the production of animated films in 2000, his film business has launched into a new dimension. In 2003, Chan was the producer of a animated feature film. He was also responsible for the pre-production planning and post production execution of many other animated film. In 2007, Chan was the chief planner for Red Star Sparkling and the executive producer of Storm Rider Clash Of The Evils.
In 2004, Chan was the program manager of the Film Professionals Training Program, jointly organized by the Hong Kong Government and the Federation of Hong Kong Filmmakers, to nurture Hong Kong's new generation of professional filmmakers. During this process, Chan has gained invaluable experience and numerous inspirations. He understands that professional skills are pivotal in the development of the animated film industry.
In early 2006, Chan has started to plan and organize for a school specializing in the professional training in animated film production. In september of the same year, Chan has successully launched "Puzzle Animation Training Institute" in the PR China's Shenzhen special economic zone, dedicated to train and breed Chin's next generation of animation film talents.
