Biography |

Born in the UK, Chee’s family background resides in China. To date, Chee has written, produced, directed, consulted and advised on a diverse range of international productions from short films, music promos to feature films working alongside some of the industry’s most established and respected names.
Chee studied a BA Hons degree in Film and Video at the Surrey Institute of Art and Design gaining a First Class Hons. In September 1999, Chee founded Intense Productions Ltd., a UK based production company. Its aim to produce diverse, innovative and successful films, combining both established and up and coming talent.
In 2006, Chee wrote, directed and produced the acclaimed British action feature film Underground revolving around an illegal underground tournament where 12 fighters compete for the prize of £500,000, as writer, director and producer. The film was distributed in the US by City Lights Media and Warner/Elektra/Atlantic Corporation (WEA).
In June 2007 Chee started production on his next feature film in Hong Kong on the epic action drama Bodyguard: A New Beginning as writer, director and producer, working with well known Asian actors Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Richard Ng as well as members of the Jackie Chan stunt team for the action choreography. A UK/ Hong Kong Co-Production, the film is due for worldwide release in 2009.
