Plot |
|
A veteran robber, Ah Sang, gets hold of the weekly schedule showing the route for the Hang Seng Bank's transportation of a large sum of cash from their headquarters to the airport. He then decides to engineer a bank robbery to be carried out by a gang of recruited hoodlums led by himself. The gang members first use their personal contacts to collect guns and then move on to steal cars and change license plates for the pickup and getaway. A careful plan has been worked out and every detail has been thought of to ensure smooth execution. On the day of the robbery, everything happens exactly as planned: it takes only three minutes to complete the robbery of seven million dollars. A special police unit is then formed to investigate the case. The inspector in-charge, based on information received, begins to suspect Sang and keeps him under surveillance. Each member is entitled to almost one million of the loot and Ah Sang specifically orders the gang members not to spend the money within the first six months.
