Biographie |

Nancy Yen est né en 1949 à Jiangsu, mais a grandi à Taiwan. En 1966, elle rejoint l'Union Film Company en tant que comédienne avec le nom de scène Yian-Jue Jue et a joué entre autres dans Lovers' Tears.
En 1971, elle a quitté la compagnie et rejoint celle de Joseph Kuo la Hong Hwa International Films (HK) Ltd., et en profite pour changer de nom de scène en Yen Nan-hsi. Elle a joué dans Triangular Duel.
En 1974, elle rejoint la Shaw Brothers en tant qu'actrice de base jusqu'en 1976 où elle joue notamment dans Dragon Missile.
En 1978, elle est retournée à la Hong Hua Film Co. de Taïwan, où elle y travaille comme actrice freelance.
Nancy Yen a pris sa retraite en 1982.
