Née le 6 décembre 1966, Cathy participe à un concours de beauté en 1985, ce qui va logiquement l'amener à signer un contrat avec la TVB où elle y restera de 1986 à 1994. Faisant le gros de sa carrière à la TV, Cathy signe également quelques albums de cantopop. Il est enfin à noter qu'elle fut la petite amie de Ray Lui... mais c'est fini entre eux.
