Biographie |

Chen Ping, née à Taiwan en 1948, commença sa carrière à l'âge de 16 ans, sur les recommandations de O Chun Hung. Elle apparaît alors dans un grand nombre de films en dialecte taiwanais ainsi que dans des téléfilms tournés pour la chaîne locale TTV.
En 1972, elle entre à la Shaw Brothers et a pour premier projet The Kiss Of Death, réalisé par Ho Meng Hua. Son attitude à la fois sexy et énergique marque les esprits et la propulse au rang de star.
Elle tourne alors dans de nombreux films d'exploitation, semi érotiques, pour les grands maîtres du genre et quitte le cinéma en même temps que la Shaw Brothers avec un dernier métrage pour le pape du soft porn, Li Han Hsiang (Take Care, Your Majesty en 1983).
