Co-fondateur avec Raymond Chow et président d'un des plus gros studios de Hong Kong : la Golden Harvest, Leonard Ho Koon Cheung produisit dans sa carrière plus de 500 films. Avant de créer son empire cinématographique en 1971, il fut à la tête de la Shaw Brothers pendant 11 années. Entre 2 films, Leonard Ho est connu chez lui pour être un généreux donateur dans les oeuvres de charité. Il est également connu pour être à l'origine des plus grands succès de Jackie Chan.
