Born in England Mike Leeder is a hong kong cinema lover, he moved to Hong Kong in 1990. He wrote in some cinema magazines like "Black Belt", "Inside Kung Fu", "Femme Fatales". Mike is known to be the special correspondent of the british magazine "Impact". He also wrote a book about one of his favorite actor : "100% Jackie Chan : The essential companion". His knowledge of asian action movies allowed him to work on documentaries like "The Art Of Action: Martial Arts In The Movies".
Mike also worked on Jet Li’s martial arts epic ‘Fearless’, which saw him working both in front of the camera as an actor and behind the scenes as Casting Director, and on the accompanying documentary “The Passion Of Martial Arts”.
In recent years, Mike has worked on Brett Ratner’s ‘Rush Hour 3’ starring Jackie Chan, and recently finished work on the ‘Mummy 3’ with Jet Li, Brendan Fraser and Michelle Yeoh.
