Harada Masato is a japanese director and actor (ex : The Last Samourai d'Edward Swick 2003 ).
When he was young he was fan of american movies and chambaras (japanese swashbuckler movie). The Seven Samourais was his first encounter with the world of movie-making : Kurosawa was shooting the film next to his home and his mother took him to the set to see the actors.
Later he moved to England to study and became journalist. he shot his first movie in 1979 : Goodbye Flickmania and he is Kamikaze Taxi's (1994) and Inugami's (2001) director.
