Biography |

Graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in Sound Design, and later earned a Master of Fine Arts in the Media Design and Technology Programme from City University of Hong Kong in 2005. Her works, screened widely in Italy, Germany, Poland and the UK, etc., consistently fuse fictional structures with true stories.
Her first narrative short Lonely Planet won the Silver Award at ifva in 2004. She finished her second narrative short Où est la sortie? in 2007 with a grant awarded by the Alliance Française in Hong Kong. Her first feature Lovers on the Road (2008) won the Best Drama Award of the 8th South Taiwan Film Festival.
Jessey is now working on her second feature, The Big Blue Lake.
