Biography |
 |
Son of the theater director Su Wen, Pu Cun Xin was sent to the country during the Cultural Revolution. In 1977, he left the Heilongjiang province, where he was living in a garrison and joined a theater troupe run by the Air Force. In 1986, he joined the Beijing People's Art Theater and became its vice-manager.
As an actor he also works on television and for the cinema. He appeared in Tian Zhuangzhuang's Blue Kite (1993) and Zhang Yang's Shower (2000). Moreover, Pu Cun Xin, is one of the rare few chinese artists who choose to commit to the fight against AIDS.
