Interview with Darren Shahlavi, a versatile gweilo

A gweilo mostly known for his work in Yuen Woo Ping’s Tai Chi II (opposite Wu Jing) and now in Wilson Yip's Ip Man 2 (opposite Donnie Yen), Darren Shahlavi is a deft on-screen fighter who after a long stint in HK, landed some sweet jobs in the US and in Europe. Arnaud Lanuque interviewed Shahlavi by email delved into the gweilo's HK career, his memories on set with a wide range of filmmakers, from Yuen Woo Ping to Tony Leung Siu Hung, to Philip Ko, passing by Ng See Yuen, Mark Houghton, Bey Logan and even Uwe Boll. In the last page, Shahlavi also talks about his work in Ip Man 2.
