HKCinemagic : Is Big Brother Cheng a true character?
Chen Kuan Tai : It's not a true person. It's about the 1960s HK reality for others to watch. Back then, the police couldn't control everything, the film is very realistic in this sense. When the movie was released, the audience thought that the character was brave and righteous in this society. He was battling evils so it was another image [for me to offer] to the audience.

Executionner from Shaolin
HKCinemagic : What are your three favorite films?
Chen Kuan Tai : I liked all my movies made in the Shaw Brothers. Such as Boxer From Shantung, Man of Iron, Big Brother Cheng, and Later Lau Kar Leung's Executioners from Shaolin and Challenge of the Masters. For me they are classics. Each gave the audience a different impression. I like most of Shaw movies because the scripts were well-written.

Iron Bodyguard
HKCinemagic : Do you like Iron Bodyguard?
Chen Kuan Tai : It's okay as well. It's a heroic story about China 's period of change and protection of the important political figures. It's also another figure.
