Lee Chi-ming is often scoffed at by his wealthy wife, Chan Cheung-chu. He bumps into an old school friend Cheung Yuet-choi who offers to him ways to get rid of his wife. Lee shrinks back mid-way through the scheme. Chan is later found murdered. Lee is blackmailed by the murderer while being haunted by Chan's ghost. The truth is revealed at last-the entire scheme is devised by Cheung who desires to usurp both Lee's money and wife.
