	Plot
The fall of the Ching Dynasty came after the Republican Revolution. Pu Yi, the last Emperor, was forced to flee the country. When World War II ended, Pu Yi returned, but had to live a peasant life. He soon fell in love with Li and they married. The Cultural Revolution followed, and the couple were criticized by the Red Guards. When Pu Yi fell sick, he was placed in a hospital. There he met Lady Fu, the wife he had once missed and so long ago had left.
