Ah Bin is a reporter during the Vietnam war. One daygoes back to Thailand for holiday. He comes across a villager Ah Kui. They become good friends. However as Ah Kiu's father wonder that Ah Bin will leave them alone. He then lets him drink a sorcery potion.
Ah Bin goes back to work later, but he feels unpleasent and constantly misses Ah Kiu. He then secretly goes back to Thailand. Ah Kiu requests his father to let Ah Bin go, however it makes them unhappy. Finally Ah Kui dies from the sorcery potion and Ah Bins life hangs in the balance....
